Brainware University (BU) is a Private State University, located in Kolkata (West Bengal). It is a part of Brainware Group of Institution. This University was established in the year 2016 under West Bengal Act XXXI of 2015 (The Brainware University Act, 2015) as a UGC-recognized, Private State University by the Government of West Bengal. It is Affiliated to Ministry of Education, Government of India & Approved by UGC (under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956), PCI, BCI, INC. The University offers Ph.D, PG, UG, Diploma and Skills Programmes.
