Allama Iqbal Teachers Training College

The foundation of "Allama Iqbal Teachers Training College" is laid in the memory of Late Sir Allama Mohammad Iqbal, the great Urdu poet, philosopher and patriotism. The College is situated at Balapur, Belaganj, Gaya (BIHAR) on Bela Panari road, 2.5 KM west from Falgu river. The institution is run by "Allama Iqbal Educational Society”.The college has been declared as a Minority Educational Institution by (NCMEI) National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi. Vide Letter No. 1780 dated 7th Feb, 2013. The Unique Combination of river and mountain scenery, and the impressive calm and scenic ambience provide a highly congenial atmosphere. The institute arose out of humble origins. This was followed by a noble effort by the authorities to revive the old tradition of learning and teaching, an essential feature of ancient Bihar. The institution provides reasonably comfortable residential facilities on first-cum-first-served basis to the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as to students, male and female, in hostels. The institute has a centrally heated central library, called Allama Iqbal Library , with a vast collection of books, leading national and international journals and magazines and the recently installed internet facility. The College has a significant education system with a humble birth and an institution where no student is ever neglected, where every action and thought is student oriented.
