Gautam Teacher's Training College

Gautam Teachers’ Training College is recognized by ERC NCTE, Bhubaneswar (Eastern Regional Council of National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi). The College is established by the trust, RIGHT PATH FOUNDATION and runs under the umbrella of ‘GAUTAM GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS. One of the major activities of the Foundation is - ‘To open, establish, promote, set-up, maintain, support and/or help literacy, informal, formal and/or distance education programmes/activities including technical/non-technical, professional, management, teacher’s training, art & craft, vocational and physical education/training/course by any or all types of schools, colleges, universities, training/coaching centres, hostels, research or other institutions of the like nature for the purpose. Right Path Foundation is a registered charitable trust dedicated to work for professional/technical capacity building and skill development education & training for youths to help in building their career and generate or enhance jobs/earning opportunities. In last few years, educational environment in Bihar has improved tremendously which may be seen in increased literacy rate, increasing enrolment in schools and colleges, opening of schools, tuition and coaching centres; and bulk recruitment of teachers. For imparting quality education, it is necessary to train teachers as most of the current lot of teachers are untrained. So, the Foundation decided to set up a Teachers’ Training College in its Bhagan Bigha campus, Biharsharif. It is Affiliated to Magadh University, Bodhgaya accorded affiliation to the College vide its letter no. 395/G.III-A; dated 18th Sep. 2012. College Code given to Gautam Teachers’ Training College by the University is 444.
