PGPM PGP (Post Graduate Programme in Management) is a two year course. Eligibility Criteria for PGPM PGP (Post Graduate Programme in Management)
1. Applicant should have a graduation in any discipline from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
2. Applicants should have a minimum of computer knowledge.
3. There is an age limit prescribed by a few institutes that provide part-time degrees.
4. According to some institutes, a candidate’s age should not be less than 17 years and not more than 27 years.
5. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 40% to 50% in the SC/ST/PWD.
Admission Process
1. Applicant on relevant entrance examinations determines admission to various universities and colleges.
2. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
3. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
Career after PGPM PGP (Post Graduate Programme in Management)
After completion of a PGDM course, one can find a number of employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors and earn around INR 5 to 10 LPA. Students can go into research and educational institutes and become professors and teachers for Management, Accounting Business and Soft skills wherein their duty will be to impart their knowledge and expertise to the younger students.
The programme is designed to develop conceptual knowledge and behavioural skills in students who continue to work in industry, government or other organizations. They can have careers also as management analysts, often called management consultants; their work is to improve an organization's efficiency. After completing the course, one can go for higher degree programs in respective subjects for further research work.
