Eligibility Criteria for PDCC Critical Care Medicine
1. The candidates should have a degree of MBBS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Some reputed colleges and institutes should conduct entrance examinations to get admission to this degree course.
2. Candidates need to have obtained MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and completed one year of compulsory internship after passing the final professional examination which is MBBS before the month of April of the relevant academic year.
3. The aggregate score to get admitted to 50%. However, the qualifying percentage differs from institution to institution.
4. There is an age limit prescribed by a few institutes that provide part-time degrees.
5. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 40% to 60% in the undergraduate degree.
Admission Process
1. The selection of eligible candidates is based on the rank obtained in the national level entrance National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET-PG).
2. Admission to the program is through both an entrance examination and merit-based. On the basis of merit as determined in a centralized competitive test held at the national level.
3. On the basis of merit as determined in the competitive test conducted by the State Government or by another competent authority appointed by the State Government or by the concerned university/ group of universities in the same State.
