M.Tech Chemical Engineering is a postgraduate program which is of a total of 2 years duration, which will provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge that is required to be registered as a Professional Chemical Engineer.
Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the advanced concept of Chemical Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Chemical management and extraction concepts. The course involves extensive study and research work on different topics of Chemical Engineering.
The various areas of concepts which are covered by B. Tech in Chemical Engineering course include Advanced Chemistry, Solid and Mechanics, Advanced Chemical Engineering, petrochemicals, Chemical Plant Designing and Operations, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility to pursue MTech is BTech/BE. The selection of candidates for admission to M. Tech Chemical Engineering course is done either through direct admission or through a national level entrance exam such as GATE.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are appearing for the final exam or waiting for the final result can also apply for admission to M. Tech Chemical Engineering course.
