Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Nursing
1. B.Sc Nursing/ BSc (Hons) Nursing/Post-Basic BSc Nursing with a minimum of 55% of marks from an institute by the Indian Nursing Council/recognized university or equivalent.
2. There’s a 5% relaxation for ST/SC candidates in the minimum pass percentage required for admission.
3. Should be a registered nurse.
4. Should have a work experience as a nurse of a minimum of 1 year before/after post-basic BSc Nursing.
5. The admission process depends on the university, therefore you might have to appear for entrance exams.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from a period of June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark as the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
