M.A. Applied Psychology or Master of Arts in Applied Psychology is a 2-year postgraduate course. Applied Psychology is a study of Psychology, which focuses on the principles, concepts, and theories to solve human problems, experience in every field.
This course has been designed to give students the opportunities to develop a depth of knowledge & critical understanding of the theory, research & intellectual history of applied psychology as well as develop an in-depth understanding of themselves as well as of the others.
Applied psychologists help people resolve their emotional distress, disorders and illness. There are various branches under applied psychology where principles, theories, concepts, strategies are applied in areas such as family, health, school, colleges, clinics and many more areas.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates should have passed a bachelor's (UG) degree program from a recognized university.
2. The minimum marks required for applying to the MA Applied Psychology course is generally 50% to 55%.
3. TISS-NET: TISS National Entrance Test is a common screening test conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) for admission to its various ug, pg programs across all its campuses. conducts aptitude tests, group discussions (GD), and personal interviews (PI) in the second round of the selection process.
