Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Optometry (D.OPT)
1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent qualification from any recognized board in India.
2. Candidates must have passed class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as their main subjects.
3. Candidates must score at least 50% marks or above in the qualifying exam.

1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from a period of June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark as the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
