A diploma in Dermatology & Venerology & Leprosy is 2 years diploma course. The program intends to impart to the student, professional competence in the diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted diseases, common skin diseases, cosmetic dermatological diseases and leprosy independently.
The graduate must independently be able to attend to medical emergencies related to skin, venereal diseases, and leprosy and adopt preventive measures at individual and community levels against communicable and non-communicable venereal diseases, skin diseases, leprosy and other such ailments.
This course focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases. Graduates of this course are well-versed in medical emergencies, the treatment of skin diseases, and prevention measures. Additionally, they are expected to teach medical students in the field. The DDVL program also provides a foundation for future employment as a skin specialist.

Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (DDVL)
1. Applicant must be s MBBS in any discipline from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. Must have completed one-year compulsory training
3. Must be registered with the state or Medical council of India.
4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), differently-abled, and other categories shall get a relaxation of 5% of marks.
5. Letters of recommendation can also be favorable to the candidate.
