Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy
1. For admission to the Pharmacy courses, the student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
2. Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
3. Students, who pass the three-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are also eligible.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish admission notices on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
6. Documents like mark sheets, photographs, signatures and transfer certificates must be scanned and uploaded online to the portal.
7. All documents must be in a specific format and size only to be accepted.
Career after Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy
This course should include both theory and practicals, according to the Ministry of Ayurvedic, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH), hence the two years of training.
