Eligibility Criteria for D.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
1. Completion of 10th and 12th level of education in science stream as a mandatory subject from a recognized Education Board.
2. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at the 10+2 level.
3. The minimum age to join this B.Pharm Pharmaceutics course is 18 years but it is not compulsory in all the colleges.
4. Some of the reputed Universities and colleges conduct their entrance examination for admission.
Admission Process
Students can either take the national level entrance examination for B. Pharma. or various other state-level entrance examinations such as entrance examination for admission.
CUCET : This exam is for common entrance exam for entrance in various undergraduate courses including B Pharmacy.
BITSAT : BITSAT is a national-level entrance exam providing admission across BITS campuses.
MET : The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is for admission to undergraduate courses in the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
KCET : The Kerala Common Entrance Test offers admission to various colleges across Kerala.
Career after D.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
After the completion of the D.Pharm course, a candidate has to register in the State Pharmacy Council in which S/he intends to carry out the profession/business.
