Eligibility Criteria for D.Pharma in Community Pharmacy
1. The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
2. Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
3. The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
4. A 10% relaxation in marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), differently abled, and other categories.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish admission notices on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
6. B Pharmacy Admission is done on the basis of both Entrance Exams as well as the basis of Merit. Various Entrance Exams such as UPSEE, GPAT, NEET etc are conducted to enrol students for B Pharmacy courses.
Career after D.Pharma in Community Pharmacy
After completing the course, students can pursue a variety of careers in the pharmaceutical field. Students have the option of working in a pharmaceutical firm or practising as a pharmacist. Students have a wide range of possibilities in both the public and private sectors. Candidates may also work for the government.
