Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering (Lateral Entry)
1. Candidates can apply for the B.Tech ECE lateral entry program online or offline, depending on the institute.
2. Those students who passed 3-year diploma in the same stream are eligible to apply for a B.tech (Lateral Entry) course.
3. The lowest minimum mark required is a minimum of 50% in PCM.
4. Almost all the top engineering institutes in the country admit students on the basis of entrance examinations like JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
5. For admission through JEE Mains, the candidates must score above 75% aggregate marks at the class 12 board exam.
