B.A Physical Education is a three-year course. This program deals with disciplines and the study of Arts which is associated with Physical Education and Medicine. After doing BA physical education course students can join B. Ed physical education or MA physical education.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A Physical Education
1. The students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in all combined to be eligible for admission.
3. Candidates must have done undergraduate from a college or a university which has been recognized by UGC i.e. University Grant Commission.
4. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.

After completion of this course, students will be able to find work in various private and public sectors such as Physical Education Teachers, Athletic Trainer, Sports Coach, Nutrition Specialists, Personal Trainers, Recreation Centre Director, etc.
The Physical Education degree provides a foundation for further higher education in this discipline, such as the MA, or a PhD degree in Physical Education, which upon completion qualifies one for the position of lecturer in any university/college.
After doing the BA Physical Education course, you can get a starting salary of two to two and a half lakh rupees. There are a lot of jobs in this field and your salary growth will be very good with the experience.
