B.A Fashion Design for Industry is a three-year course. Fashion Design is the study of creating original designs in garments, footwear, jewellery, luggage, etc. It is also a study of ever-changing trends in the fashion industry and market.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A Fashion Design for Industry
1. The candidates who completed 10+2 in any stream.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in all three years combined to be eligible for admission.
3. Candidates must have done undergraduate from a college or a university which has been recognized by UGC i.e. University Grant Commission.
4. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
Career after B.A Fashion Design for Industry
Fashion Design prepares students for careers in several management positions including pre-production, apparel production, and fabric quality control management.
Development of creativity, as well as technical skills, means pupils could end up working as designers, CAD specialists, merchandisers, sales representatives, stylists, or pattern and sample makers.
Starting positions often include being an assistant or trainee. After the completion of the course, you can also go for further degrees like a master’s and then for research degrees.
