MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course in medicine. Obstetrics and Gynaecology are the two surgical–medical specialties dealing with the female reproductive organs in their pregnant and non-pregnant state, respectively, and as such are often combined to form a single medical specialty and postgraduate training program.
Gynecology is the branch of medicine that deals with female organs female hormones and other issues. Obstetrics is a part that deals with only childbirth-related issues from conception to delivery. After passing the course they have self-employment opportunities in the very field.

Eligibility Criteria for MD Obstetrics & Gynecology
1. MBBS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils, and with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
2. The professionals have to qualify for the Individual Entrance Exams conducted by the University/College in accordance with the admission process for the same.
