Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Applied Technology
1. The candidates must complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board or university.
2. Many colleges set the minimum marks required as 50% in PCM. Though the minimum marks criteria will largely depend on the entrance exam eligibility criteria.
3. For admission through JEE Mains, the candidates must score above 75% aggregate marks at class 12 board exam.
4. The candidates must be above 17 years of age and should be medically fit. The upper age limit for admission to this course varies from 21 to 24 years.
5. Must appear for common entrance examinations like JEE, BITSAT, and other university-specific entrance exams for admissions.
B.Tech Applied Technology after Career and Scope
After getting a Bachelor of Technology degree, students can further specialise in these disciplines of engineering by pursuing an M.Tech course. After M.Tech, one can also enter in research field by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in a related discipline.
