The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Civil Services Exam 2021. The DAF has been uploaded on the UPSC’s official site, upsc.gov.in. The DAF has been made available between November 22 and December 1.
Candidates need to upload the required document’s scanned copies within the allotted time limit.
1. The UPSC main examination will be held on January 7, 2022, in 24 cities across the country.
2. The Commission may not operate Centres in which the number of candidates is low. In that case, the candidates will be allotted the nearest centers to the candidates.
3. While every effort will be made to allow the candidate to the Centre of his choice, the Commission may, at their discretion allot a different Centre or a new Centre that may be opened if circumstances demand.
4. The candidates must carry their Photo ID Proof submitted by them while applying for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 to the Examination Venues for Civil Services (Main) Examination along with the e-Admit Card to support their identity.
5. Candidates applying (Except Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted 2 from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Main) Examination need to pay a fee of Rs 200 either by depositing the money in any SBI Branch by cash or by using Net Banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master/RuPayCredit/ Debit card.
