There are a lot of different scholarship schemes which are presented by the Government of India in order to help the people who are not able to continue their education. Every year, UGC Scholarship benefits more than 20 thousand students. Various monetary benefits under various scholarship programs will be provided to the students as per their interests.
The UGC Scholarship Application Form 2022-23 is available on National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The Student gets the Scholarship Amount in Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

UGC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2022
As the eligibility criteria of each scholarship offered are different, aspiring beneficiaries are advised to check eligibility criteria before applying for UGC Scholarship 2022.
1. Candidates who cleared 10+2 or hold a Graduate / Post Graduate/Ph.D. degree from a board/university recognized by the education authority of India can apply for UGC Merit Scholarship.
2. One who is well versed in spoken and written English will be given UGC Scholarship.
3. The nationality of Candidates should be Indian.
4. The maximum Age Criteria for a male candidate is 45 years. UGC has set the maximum age of 50 for the UGC single girl child scholarship.
How To Apply For UGC Online Scholarship 2022 Portal?
