The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the admit cards for the 2024 University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) any time soon. Once out, all the candidates who registered for the examination can download the Hall ticket IDs from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the position of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.
The Reservation Policy
1. Seats reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates: 15 percent.
2. Seats reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: 7.5 percent
3. Seats reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates, based on the Central List: 27 percent
4. Seats reserved for candidates belonging to the General-Economically Weaker Sections (General-EWS) category: 10 percent
5. Seats in the above-mentioned categories are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who have a disability of 40 percent or more: 5 percent.
