The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released the recruitment notification for the position of trade apprenticeship in the South Central Railway (SCR). There are 4,232 jobs on offer through this recruitment drive for class 10th and ITI pass candidates. The application process has begun and the last date to register is January 27, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of South Central Railway, scr.indianrailways.gov.in.
This apprenticeship will be for one year only. Candidates must have passed 10th with 50 per cent marks. It is also necessary to have done ITI in the relevant trade. There will be no written exam for the trade apprenticeship recruitment in railways. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. There will be a document verification and medical test.
Application Fee
The application fee for trade apprenticeship is Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. The application is free for SC, ST, and PH candidates. Selected candidates will get a salary ranging between Rs 7700 to Rs 20200 per month depending upon their trade.
