The Post Graduate Medical Education Board is seeking public comments for draft post-graduate Medical Education Regulations -2023. Candidates are requested to share comments on the draft regulations at the following email id comments.pgregulations@nmc.org.in in MS Word format or machine-readable PDF format within 10 days from the date of publication.
The regulations are under wide speculation as NMC has mentioned the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 tentative date. As per the NMC regulations, NEET PG 2024, if held, will be scheduled for March 2024. Results will be declared by the first week of April.
According to the official schedule, the first round of central counselling will be tentatively conducted from May 10 to 20 and state counselling from May 20 to 31. The last of joining for round one will be May 31 for central counselling and June 5 for state counselling.
Second round of counselling for all India level will be held from June 1 to 10 and the last day of reporting will be June 20. For state counselling, it will be held from June 11 to 20 and the last date of joining is June 30.
Round 3 and online stray vacancy round will be conducted during the month of July and initial days of August. The classes will commence from July 1, but students will have time till August 10 to join their classes.
