KCET 2026 exam date OUT

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the KCET 2026 schedule, including the start of the application process and the exam dates for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026.

Candidates can get the application at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The KCET 2026 exam will be conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2026, in two shifts per day. 

The special Kannada language exam for certain candidates will take place on April 22, 2026. The exam will be held only at centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru districts. Session 1 exam will have the timings of 10.30 am to 11:50 am, and session 2 will have the timings of 2:30 pm to 3.50 pm. 

KCET Registration 2026: Steps to apply

Students can check the steps below to apply for registration: 

• Go to the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
• Click on the CET 2026 registration link on the homepage
• Register using basic details such as name, email ID and mobile number
• Fill the application form with personal, academic and course details
• Upload required documents (photograph, signature, certificates as asked)
• Pay the application fee online and submit the form
• Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

What is the application fee? 

• The application fee is Rs 200 for the General Category and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates. 
• Students from outside Karnataka have to pay Rs 700, while those from outside India have to pay Rs 5000.
