The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced vacancies for the Processing Assistant Grade B position in the Income Tax Department. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates looking to apply for this recruitment must have the following qualifications:
(A) Master’s degree in Computer Application / Computer Science or Master of Technology (M. Tech.) (with specialisation in Computer Application); or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognised university or equivalent;
(B) (i) Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent;
(ii) Two years experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming;
(C) (i) Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent, or Degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent;
(ii) Three years experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming;
(D) (i) ‘A’ Level Diploma under the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) Programme or ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Computer;
(ii) Three years experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming.
Salary and Age
Candidates selected for these posts will receive a salary ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 under Level 7. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, as per the guidelines mentioned in the notification.
