The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 Board Session 1 Examination 2026 results, with an overall pass percentage of 93.70%. Girls have once again outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 94.99%, while boys stood at 92.60%. Students can access their CBSE Class 10 results 2026 on the official websites cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in as well as via the UMANG app and DigiLocker using their login credentials.
This year's result reflects a marginal improvement over 2025. Out of 24,83,479 registered candidates, 24,71,777 appeared for the examination, and 23,16,008 have qualified.
In 2025, 23,85,079 students registered for the exam, 23,71,939 appeared, and 22,21,636 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 93.66%. Compared to last year, the 2026 pass rate has increased by 0.04 percentage points, indicating a steady but limited upward trend in performance.
Among school categories, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have emerged as the top performers with a 99.57% pass rate, followed closely by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) at 99.42%. Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 91.43%, government-aided schools stood at 91.01%, while private schools registered 93.77%.
