Bihar GDS 1940 Recruitment 2021 Bihar Post Office Gramin Dak Sevak Bharti

The Bihar Postal Circle, under India Post, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling One Thousand Nine-Forty (1,940) Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) posts in Bihar Postal Circle in capacities such Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak through direct selection to be posted across Bihar in India.

A total of 1940 vacancies are available for Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM), and Dav Sevak in various districts of Bihar including in Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Monghyr, Nalanda, Nawadha, Purnea, Saharsa, RMS NB DIVISION, RMS C DIVISION, Samastipur, Darbhanga, East Champaran, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, RMS U DIVISION, Saran, Sitamarhi, Siwan, West Champaran, Aurangabad, Bhojpur, Gaya, Patna, Patna Sahib, RMS PT DIVISION, Rohtas, and Vaishali.

Eligibility

1. A mandatory educational qualification for all accepted categories of Gramin Dak Sevak is a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, the local language, and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any approved Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.

2. Knowledge of the local language is needed.

3. The candidate must have learned the local language at least up to 10th grade [as compulsory or elective subjects] as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the Constitution of India’s 8th schedule.
