Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited offers ONGC Scholarship to meritorious SC, ST, OBC, and General (EWS) students as part of its CSR initiative. The online application for the ONGC Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 is scholarships.

ONGC Scholarship 2024
Every year, the ONGC Foundation awards 2000 scholarships to students from the General (EWS), OBC, and SC/ST categories. ONGC Scholarship is a CSR program that provides financial assistance to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Those who are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the academic year.
Under the ONGC scholarship scheme, eligible students receive Rs 48,000 per annum on a monthly basis of Rs 4,000. This scholarship is distributed among 500 OBC, 500 General, and 1000 SC students, with a 50% scholarship reserved for female students.
Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Scholarship 2024
1. Applicants’age should be 30 years or less.
2. The annual family income of the student (GEN/OBC) from all sources should be less than 2 lakhs rupees.
3. The scholarship is open to both male/female students who are enrolled in full-time or regular courses.
4. Applicant must have secured 60% or more marks in 12th class or graduation.
5. In the case of SC/ST students, the annual family income should be equal to or less than Rs 4.5 lakhs.
6. Applicants must not avail of any other scholarship.
7. Applicants have to apply for that respective zone location where the institute/ college/ university is located.
8. You must not apply for the scholarship before any of the courses.
9. Applicants must study for Regular full-time courses to apply for the scholarship.
10. Students must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII.
11. A minimum of 60% marks in graduation on a 10-point grading system is required.
Documents Required for ONGC Scholarship
1. Birth Certificate/ Class 10 Mark sheet
2. Class 12 mark sheet in case of Engineering/ MBBS students.
3. Consolidated Graduation mark sheet in case of MBA/Masters in Geology/Geophysics students.
4. Annual income certificate of the family.

Application Procedure through Online
The application process is very easy and interested eligible candidates can apply online mode -
1. Visit the official ONGC Scholarship page.
2. Click on the ‘Apply scholarship’ button.
3. Fill in the application form with all necessary documents and information.
4. Upload all the documents provided by the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institute/College.
5. Once the application is complete, print out the hard copy and submit it to the concerned ONGC office in your local area.
Procedure to Apply Offline
Applicants may apply for the Scholarship for Meritorious SC/ ST category through offline mode-
1. Download the application form via the official website
2. Take a printout of the form and fill the application form with asked details
3. Now you need to affix the passport-size photograph with it
4. Attach a copy of the above-mentioned documents with the form

Scholarship Benefits Amount
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Scholarship provides 48000 INR/ annum to successful candidates.
This scholarship amount will be continued if the student maintains at least 60% examination marks. Otherwise, the scholarship will be discontinued.
Engineering/Medical/MBA/Geophysics/Geology in any AICTE/UGC/MCI/State University/State Education Board/Central University/Central Government institution can apply for this scholarship.
1500 scholarships are reserved for SC/ST/OBC, and 500 seats are reserved for the general category.
ONGC Scholarship Dates
Dates may change every year depending upon the authorities providing this scholarship.
1. Availability of application form is July 2024.
2. Tentative date for the application deadline is August 2024.
3. The last date to apply for the scholarship, including the ONGC Scholarship for OBC 2024, is September last week every year.
