National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an Aptitude test for admission to the 5-year B.Arch. Degree Course at recognized institutions across India. The test measures cognitive skills, visual perception, aesthetic sensitivity, logical reasoning, and critical thinking ability.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture is conducted by CoA (Council of Architecture) to offer admission in B.Arch courses in various Universities/colleges/ Institutes. National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2022 (NATA 2022) is a national-level entrance examination.
NATA examination is conducted twice a year. Candidates are not required to compulsorily take the test twice though if a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for NATA
1. Candidates should have passed/appeared in class 12th or any equivalent qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
2. Candidate in his/her admission to any Architecture course unless he/she has fulfilled all the requirements as specified by respective counselling and admission authorities.
3. Candidates who are appearing in either of the examination above in the current year may also appear for NATA 2023 provisionally.

NATA 2023 Application Form
NATA 2023 Application Form is expected to release in the first week of March 2023. Candidates can register for NATA 1 as well as NATA 2 at the same time. Candidates can fill out the application form on the official website.
How to fill out the NATA 2023 Application Form?
1. Application is to be filled up Online at the NATA portal of www.nata.in.
2. Candidates can register themselves either for the first test or second test OR for both by filling in the application form appropriately.
3. The registration window for the second test will open for 14 days after the announcement of results of the test held on the first date.
4. Candidates opting to appear in both the first and second test may note that they will be issued with a separate scorecard for each test.
5. The scorecard for the Second test shall contain the marks secured in the First & Second tests. The best marks secured in either of the Tests shall be taken as the valid score for admission to B.Arch. Course.
6. The online filling-up of the Application Form is interactive in nature and online guidance will be available on the official website.
Application Fee
1. Application fee payable by a candidate applying for NATA– 2023, for anyone test is INR Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) payable through Online mode.
2. The application fee payable by a Candidate who wishes to apply for both first and second test, is Rs 4000/- (Rupees Four thousand only).
3. Application Fee payable by candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD and transsexual category for anyone test is Rs 1500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred only) and for both tests is Rs 3,000/- (Rupees three thousand hundred only).
4. Application fee payable Candidates opting to appear from test centers outside the territory of India is Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) for anyone test and Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) for both the tests through online mode.

NATA 2023 Admit Card
The authorities will release the NATA admit card 2023 online on the official website. NATA admit card for each attempt will be released by the authorities separately. Registered candidates will have to download it from the website nata.in.
How to download the NATA admit card 2023?
1. Visit the official website at nata.in
2. Click on the link to NATA login
3. The candidate login portal will appear on the screen. Enter NATA 2023 application number and password
4. There will be a tab reflecting ‘NATA admit card’, click on it
5. NATA 2023 hall ticket shall appear on the screen
6. Download the same and take a printout for future reference
NATA 2023 Exam Pattern
1. Number of Questions: Total 125 questions will be asked in the examination.
2. Total Marks: Questions will be of 200 marks for both session exams.
3. Type of Questions: Multiple-Choice type
4. Language: The medium of aptitude test will be in English Language.
5. Marking Scheme: Questions will Carry either 1,2 or 3 marks.
6. Negative Marking: No provision of negative marking.

NATA Result
NATA Phase I result will be declared by the Council. Candidates can check the result on the web portal of NATA (nata.in). Details like sectional and overall marks, qualifying status, etc. are clearly mentioned in the NATA result.
