Karnataka Common Entrance Test commonly known as KCET is regulated by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). For admission in the medical & dental course, candidates got to attend for NEET entrance exam. For admission in design courses, candidates ought to attend for NATA entrance exam.
It is conducted for admission to professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science), and Veterinary courses.
Candidates who desire to take admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. This is a state-level entrance exam and will be held tentatively in the month of April 2024.

KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are advised to go through the KCET 2024 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance test. If a candidate is found ineligible for the exam, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Those with a Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates) are also eligible. |

KCET 2024 Application Form
Following are the complete details with Application Form-
1. The Application Form will be released through online mode.
2. Application Form will be released for eligible candidates only so candidates must confirm their eligibility before applying for the examination.
3. Candidates must submit their details very carefully though the authority will also provide the correction in the application form.
4. The details like Email Id and Phone Number must be correct and working as all the communication will be done through them.
5. Candidates must submit their application form before the last date of submission as no candidates will be allowed to submit after that date.
Application Fee
1. The application fee will be Rs. 500/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ women candidates.
2. Candidates can submit the application fee via challan submission at the selected banks / e-post office.
3. Applicants will be able to download the challan after signing the declaration in the application form.

KCET Exam Pattern 2024
1. Mode of exam: The Exam will be conducted through offline mode.
2. Type of questions: The question paper will be consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
3. Duration: A total of 80 minutes will be allotted to the candidates for solving the question paper.
4. Marks: Each subject in the question paper will be consist of 60 marks.
5. Marking scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and there won’t be any negative marking in the question paper.

KCET 2024 Admit Card
KCET 2024 Admit Card will be released by the Karnataka Examination Authority(KAE) on its official website.
KCET 2024 admit card has been released to only those candidates who will successfully register themselves in the application process.
Applicants will be able to download their KCET 2024 Admit Card by using their application number and date of birth.
Candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center on the day of the exam. The venue and schedule of the exam will be communicated to the candidates through their admit cards.
Candidates must preserve their admit card as it will be required at the time of counseling and admission.
KCET Result 2024
The Karnataka Exam Authority will announce the result in August 2024 on the official website. The candidate can check the result by login ID and password. It is important to download the result because it will use at the time of counseling.
The merit list will also release at the time of the result and based on the merit list, the candidate will be called for counseling. The KCET 2024 Counselling will be happening in August 2024. Students who will be declared qualified on the basis of the scores will be eligible for KCET 2024 counselling.
