Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment body courage the recruitment and placement of young graduates in public sector banks in India. IBPS currently functions as an autonomous body that is mainly engaged in conducting competitive exams for recruitment to clerical and officers posts in the banking sector.

IBPS Recruitment Post
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS is an autonomous body that conducts recruitment examinations for all Public Sector Banks (PSBs) except SBI. Over the years, the institute has provided services related to assessment and testing for different banks through various exams.
The institute was constituted in 1984 and is governed by a board of nominees from different government bodies and banks such as RBI, Ministry of Finance, NIBM, IBA, etc. In the same year, the centralised examinations covering all public sector banks started on a limited scale.
The process of conducting the exams online started in late 2000. IBPS exams are conducted to recruit employees for PSBs at various levels, such as Probationary Officers, Clerks and Specialist Officers.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Exam
1. A candidate who wants to appear for the exam considers the age relaxation provided for the IBPS examination in the notification of IBPS.
2. The candidates will be selected through Prelims, Mains, and Interview rounds conducted by IBPS for the recruitment for the IBPS Exam.
3. An applicant possessing a graduate degree (such as BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech) from a recognized university.
4. As the exams are now conducted online, candidates need to know the basic working of the computer.
IBPS Exam Age Relaxation
The candidate must be 20 Years to 28 Years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1994 and no later than 01.07.2002 (both dates inclusive). There is some relaxation of the upper age limit for special category candidates. The details on it are given below:

Application Process for IBPS
1. Visit the official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in.
2. Click on the tab saying IBPS Recruitment 2022 notification, the IBPS Recruitment 2022 Application Form will open.
3. Fill in all the required details accurately as per your certificates and documents and also double-check the same before submitting.
4. Upload scanned photograph and signature.
5. Post submitting the application form, click on the link to the new registration after clicking on the link of the recruitment.
6. Your registration number and password will be generated.
7. After registration and filling out the application form, submit the application fee pertaining to your category through the online fee payment procedure.
8. Print the application form for future purposes.

Exam Pattern for IBPS
The IBPS Exam Pattern gives detailed information regarding the exam. The IBPS Exam Pattern consists of three stages that the candidate needs to clear being- Prelims, Main, and the interview round.
IBPS Prelims Examination Pattern
1. The IBPS preliminary examination has a total duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes for each section, which will be conducted in online mode.
2. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and a maximum score of 100 marks.
3. There is a negative marking in the IBPS pre-exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
4. Candidates must clear the cut-off in all 3 sections to qualify for the IBPS Main exam.
