Eligibility Criteria
You need to pass 10+2 of the CBSE or equivalent examination. The admission will, however, depend on the cut-offs announced by the colleges.
1. Admissions to almost all Undergraduate courses are made on the basis of merit. The University of Delhi constructs merit based on 10+2 marks. Delhi University releases the merit lists in rounds. The results of the 10+2 CBSE board coincide with the DU merit list rounds.
2. Delhi University UG Admissions for the courses are made through the Delhi University entrance exam.
3. Delhi University PG Admissions are made through both merit and entrance exam.
4. There is no minimum age bar.

Admission Process
1. Delhi University Application-cum-Admission Form will be available from May 2024 to June 2024. Delhi University has released the examination forms for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at du.ac.in.
2. The forms have also been released for students in NCWEB, studying professional courses and certificate or diploma or advanced diploma, intensive diploma, and intensive advanced diploma.
3. The first cut-off list will be declared by colleges in June and the Admissions for the first cut-off list will be from June last. The tenth cut-off list (if required) will be displayed on July 2024.
4. Admissions for General Category will end in July 2024.
How to Apply for DU UG/PG Application Form 2024
1. Visit admission.uod.ac.in.
2. Secondly, Click on UG Admission Form or PG Admission Form Link as per your choice.
3. Now Click on Registration Button and Proceed.
4. Fill the DU Admission Form 2023 with complete details.
5. Upload your Signature and Photo in PDF Format.
6. Complete the Form and SUbmit it.
7. Finally Pay the Application Fees and confirm your Application Form.

Documents required
You have to be present at the venue along with documents, including Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, Class 12th Original Certificate, Character Certificate, Photographs, etc. The counseling procedure may be carried in 3 or more phases as per the need.

Exam Pattern for DU Exam 2023
1. The answers have to be marked on the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet.
2. There will be separate subjects from which the questions will be asked, for each course.
3. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
4. The question paper for UG and PG courses will include objective-type questions.
5. For UG courses, 4 marks will be credited to each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Admit Card for DU Admission Exam 2023
1. Admit card download link will be available in May 2023.
2. Admit cards will not be dispatched by post.
3. It is important to take the Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
4. The candidate has to bring one identity proof along with the admit card.
5. The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.
DU Admission Result 2023
The result will be declared in July 2023. Candidates shortlisted in the written test will be called for an interview/group discussion. By considering the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and interview/group discussion, the merit list will be drawn.
The category wise cutoff for different engineering branches in different colleges affiliated to Delhi University will be officially published by the officials on the respective website of the university.
