COMEDK UGET is a state-level examination providing a gateway to students for admission in engineering and architecture courses offered by institutes in Karnataka. A consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test.
The exam is conducted to determine the merit of students in an effective, fair and transparent testing procedure. Presently 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 Engineering colleges, who make available almost 20000 seats, are affiliated to COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Programme during the per academic year.
Candidates who are interested and eligible for admission in undergraduate courses in private medical and dental colleges of Karnataka can apply for the COMEDK UGET. The merit list of the exam will be published based on the score obtained by the candidate. The COMEDK UGET test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The following tables can be referred to to check the detailed eligibility criteria of COMEDK UGET 2023 for both engineering and agriculture courses.
COMEDK UGET 2023 Eligibility for Engineering
1. The candidates need to pass the 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised institution.
2. The candidates must have Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects The candidates must have secured at least 50% in the qualifying examination.
3. Students holding diplomas are not eligible for appearing in COMEDK UGET 2023.

Candidate should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories) and should also have passed in the subjects individually |

As per COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria, diploma holders are not eligible for the exam |
COMEDK UGET 2023 Eligibility for Architecture
1. The candidates need to secure qualifying marks in the 12th standard.
2. The candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subjects.
3. The candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination.
4. The candidates need to secure at least 80 marks in NATA.
