AIPVT (All India Pre Veterinary Test)

AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) is replaced by the NEET examination in 2017. The AIPVT exam is conducted to offer admission into B.V.Sc and A.H. Admission to the veterinary courses will be given to the candidates based on the NEET merit list. The examination will be conducted at the national level. The AIPVT exam will be conducted offline. The process for AIPVT registration will be online.

The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria decided by the authority to apply for AIPVT and get admission. The B.V.Sc and A.H course duration is 5 and a half years. This also consists of a one-year-long rotating internship that students must undergo.

Eligibility Criteria for AIPVT 2025

Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility norms before applying for AIPVT 2025:

1. Nationality: Indian national candidates will be eligible.

2. Age Limit: One must have attained a minimum age of 17 as of 31st December 2025.

3. Qualification: Candidates must have qualified 12th standard examination from any recognised board.

4. Subjects: Higher Secondary Class must be qualified in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

5. Entrance Exam: Selection of candidates will be based on NEET UG 2025 scores only.

6. Overseas Citizen of India/Person of Indian Origin: OCI & PIO candidates will also be eligible to apply for admission under 15% Quota.

Application Fee AIPVT 2025

The AIPVT 2025 application fee differs according to the categories of the candidates. The AIPVT application fee for the applicants is INR 1500 for general and OBC candidates. It is INR 750 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. An additional late fee of 750 applies to candidates submitting the application form past the last date.

Admit Card AIPVT 2025

Those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and fulfilled the eligibility criteria will be issued a provisional AIPVT Admit Card 2025. Candidates will be able to download hall tickets through online mode from the website.

The admit card will indicate the date and time of the examination, exam centre, and general instructions. The AIPVT 2025 hall ticket will be made available for download in the fourth week of April 2025.

The AIPVT 2025 admit card can be downloaded from the official website by following the steps outlined below.

1. Go to the AIPVT's official website.

2. Enter your information, such as your registration number and password.

3. Go to the 'AIPVT Admit Card' page.

Selection Process AIPVT 2025

The selection process for AIPVT 2024 include various steps. Firstly, one have to fill the application form. Once form gets successfully submitted, they have to appear & qualify NEET examination. Further, qualified candidates have to attempt counselling & other round. Candidate’s selection is on the basis of merit list. He/ She is offered admission in B.V.Sc & A.H courses. Reservation applies to the castes mentioned in the Central list of OBC. It is as follows:

SC category- 15% seats

ST category – 7.5% seats

EWS category- 10% seats

OBC category- 27% seats

Counselling AIPVT 2025
