The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) 2024 will be conducted for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy courses for the academic session 2024.

It is a national-level exam conducted annually, by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and it follows the computer-based mode (online). The headquarter of All India Institute of Ayurveda, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India is situated in New Delhi. The institute offers postgraduate and doctoral courses in various Ayurveda Disciplines.

AIAPGET Eligibility 2024

1. Candidates interested in appearing for AIAPGET 2024 must check if they are eligible to apply for the examination.

2. Aspirants must have a valid BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS degree from a recognized institute.

3. AYUSH graduates should have completed or are likely to complete the one-year rotatory internship on or before September 30, 2023.

4. Candidates must possess BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or provisional BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS pass certificate that is recognized according to the provisions of the HCC 1973/IMCC 1970 Act and possess a permanent/provisional registration certificate of BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/Graded BHMS issued by CCIM/CCH/universities/deemed universities/state board.

AIAPGET 2024 Application Form

It is essential that the candidates keep certain documents with them before they fill the AIAPGET 2024 application form to avoid the inconvenience of hunting for them midway. Candidates can register online by visiting the official website (ntaaiapget.nic.in).

Candidates should first carefully read the registration guide that will be available on the website. AIAPGET 2024 Application Form can be submitted only in online mode. The conducting authority will not accept offline applications.

AIAPGET Time Table 2023

Candidates interested in appearing for AIAPGET 2023 must know all the important dates related to the examination so that they can apply for it on time. Candidates are advised to check the official website to stay updated on all news and notifications related to AIAPGET 2023.

AIAPGET 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for the AIAPGET 2024 should know the exam pattern to score marks in the paper. 

1. AIAPGET Exam is a computer-based exam with multiple-choice questions.

2. AIAPGET Exam contains a total of 120 questions. And each question carries 4 marks. So, a total of 480 marks are there.

3. There is a negative marking. Accordingly, one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

4. The exam questions are available in English and Hindi medium for Ayurveda. And for Unani, it will be available in Urdu and English. Also, it will be only available in English for Homeopathy. And, for Siddha, it is available in English and Tamil.

5. There are two shifts. The first is for Ayurveda. And the second is for Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. The first shift is from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. And the second is from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M.

The seats are allotted based on the scores, preferences, and reservations applicable.

AIAPGET 2023 Admit Card Date

The exam of AIAPGET 2023, admit cards for the AIAPGET Exam were available on the NTA website. These are released four to five days after the exam. The exam took place on September 2023. And therefore the admit cards were out on September 2023.

The candidates had to download the admit cards from the NTA website. It is mandatory to carry the admit cards on the day of the exam. Also, they had to bring one government-issued photo identity proof. Candidates can read the instructions for the exam on the NTA website.

How to Download AIAPGET Exam Admit Card?

The admit cards for AIAPGET Exam are available on the website of NTA. The candidates can go to the website and download their admit cards.

1. First, go to the official website of NTA, https://aiapget.nta.ac.in/.

2. Next on the Home Page, there is an option, ‘Download All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test – 2023 Admit Card’. Click on it.

3. After this, it will redirect to the new page of Admit Card. There are two options. One is ‘Through Application Number and Password’ and the other is ‘Through Application Number and Date of Birth’.

4. Select an option and click on it.

5. Next, enter Application Number and Password or Date of Birth 3 is applicable.

6. After this, enter Security Pin or Captcha.

7. The Admit Card will open up. You can either download it or take a printout.

AIAPGET 2023 Cutoff

1. The cutoff indicates the minimum marks which a candidate must secure in order to get admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses through AIAPGET 2023.

2. The qualifying percentile for each category will also be released by the authority. In order to qualify for AIAPGET 2023, candidates belonging to the unreserved categories must secure the 50th percentile.

3. For SC/SCT and OBC category candidates, the cut-off percentile is 40. Candidates with benchmark disabilities will have to secure the 45th percentile in order to qualify for the exam. Candidates can check the category-wise cut-off in the table below.

4. The qualifying criteria of AIAPGET 2023 will be decided by NTA. If a sufficient number of candidates fails to secure the minimum marks prescribed by the conducting authority, NTA may lower the minimum marks for admission to PG courses.

5. Candidates can find the cut-off marks of AIAPGET 2023 on the official website after the announcement of the result.

6. Candidates can understand if they have qualified in AIAPGET 2023 examination by checking the cut-off marks prescribed by the conducting authority.

7. There are many factors that determine the cut-off marks such as the number of candidates that have appeared for the examination, average performance of candidates, availability of seats, etc.

AIAPGET 2023 Counselling

AIAPGET 2023 counseling will commence after the result declaration. The details regarding counselling can be checked in the following points given below-

1. Candidates should be aware that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has no direct role in counselling.

2. The concerned Stated AYUSH Authorities/Counselling Authority of University/Deemed University/AYUSH Colleges/Institutes/States/UTs will be responsible for conducting counselling as per the schedule, and for Central Quota seats, counselling will be conducted by AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).

3. The counselling will be done based on the rank of the candidate in the examination.

4. The admission process is performed by the AYUSH State Authority, Health Department, and other relevant government, university, college, or AYUSH Institute agency.

5. This procedure relies on selecting college preference by the aspirant, eligibility requirements stated by the college/institution, the guiding principle of college/institution, criteria of residence/nationality, and reservation policy.

AIAPGET 2023 Result

The AIAPGET 2023 Result will be announced after the successful conduction of the examination. After the release of the final official answer key, NTA declares AIAPGET results in the form of a merit list with all the selected candidates' names. The result shall be available at the login of the candidates, and hence candidates can download their results by entering their application number and date of birth.

After the exam result is declared by the Ministry of Ayush, as a combined merit list for All India for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy stream separately.

The validity of the result of AIAPGET 2023 shall be only for the current admission year, i.e., 2023-24 academic year for MD/MS/PG DIPLOMA AYUSH PG courses, and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admission for MD / MS / PG DIPLOMA AYUSH courses.
