NEET 2022 : Total MBBS seats in India State wise

The National Testing Agency successfully conducted the NEET 2022 examination recently on July 2022. The NEET UG 2022 is the largest exam to get admission to medical colleges for MBBS. In this article, we have given the break up of NEET 2022 State Wise Seats.

As a reference, here is a comprehensive list of MBBS seats across all colleges in India. According to the type of college (Public, Private, Central, etc.) for reference by those who wish to apply for admission to MBBS programs at medical colleges across the country.

NEET Seat Intake 2022 state-wise has been released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There are 98,013 MBBS seats in 648 colleges open for medical aspirants. All these seats are including of Government, Semi Government, Private, Deemed medical, ESIC, Central Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER. 

1. There are a total of 98,013 MBBS seats in 648 colleges.

2. A total of 51,548 seats are in government colleges.

3. A total of 46,465 seats are in private MBBS colleges.

4. NEET 2022 counselling will be conducted for 98,013 MBBS.

According to the information of MCI 10% of seats are reserved for the economically weaker section (EWS) for admission in government MBBS colleges through NEET UG 2022. 15% of the seats are reserved for the AIQ (All India Quota) and the remaining 85% for the State Government quota. From the data, these states have the maximum number of seats available for admission in Government colleges through NEET UG 2022.
