Prerna Scholarship is a financial assistance program that aims to support underprivileged students in India. The scholarship provides financial aid to students.
Prerana Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme to offer financial support to the economically weaker students from the ST, SC & OBC/SEBC Communities. This scheme offers Scholarships for the students to pursue Professional and Non-Professional courses after Matriculation.
Eligibility Criteria for Prerana Scholarship
1. Applicant must belong to ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC category.
2. He/she should be permanent resident of Odisha.
3. The annual family income for ST/SC students should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
4. The annual income for OBC/SEBC students should not exceed INR 1 Lakh and they have to secure at least 50% marks in previous examination.
5. The students should continue their Post Matriculation Studies in any general/technical or professional courses in any Govt. or Govt. recognized Private institutes.
6. The annual family income for EBC students should not exceed INR 1 Lakh and they should have to continue their higher study in Government institute only.
7. The scheme for EBC is applicable only for General Category (Other than SC/ST/OBC/SEBC).
Benifits of Scholarship Amount
Selected and Eligible Gets Benefit of Prerana Scholarship Scheme.
1. PRERANA Scholarship provides the 100% course fee for general courses.
2. Whereas the scholarship amount of Rs. 28,500/- will be provided for the technical like degree or diploma courses.
3. This also provides an extra amount of monthly maintenance.
Documents Required for PRERANA Scholarship
The scanned copy of the following documents must be uploaded along with the application.
1. 10th & 12th Certificate and Mark-sheet
2. Students Graduation Certificate and Mark sheet, if applying for post-graduation
3. Odisha Bonafide Certificate
4. Family Income certificate
5. Copy of First Page of Students Bank Account Passbook
6. Caste Certificate
7. 2 Passport Size Photograph
8. Copy of Aadhaar or Enrollment Slip
Application Process for PRERANA Scholarship
1. Go to the official website of the PRERANA Scholarship Portal.
2. Click on the ‘Login’ tab appeared at the top right corner of the homepage.
3. If already registered, log into prerana scholarship login using your application Id and Password.
3. If not, then register yourself by selecting ‘New Students Please Register Yourself’.
4. Read the instructions to complete the registration process.
5. Fill the correct information like the educational & personal details, bank account details, etc.
6. Then, click on ‘Submit’ to submit the application form along with the documents.
7. Take a printout of the application and submit the ‘Barcode’ at the Institute.

Prerana Scholarship For Students Registration Release in July every year. PRERANA Scholarship closing date in November.
